PediatricsAllied Therapy provides occupational, physical and speech-language therapy services to children with developmental, physical, and speech-language deficits. Both clinics are set up to co-treat with another discipline. Clinic staff offers expertise in Sensory Integration, Neurodevelopmental Treatment, Lovaas Methods, Vital Stim, DAFO’s, Feeding Disorders, Infant Massage, SIPT, and Therapeutic Listening. Both individual sessions and small group programs are available. Clients range from 0-3 to school age. Therapists focus on parent training. Our clinics accept most commercial insurance plans in addition to Medicaid, BCMH and Family Resources.

A wheeled mobility assessment, completed by a licensed therapist or physician specialist is an essential prerequisite for funding. Factors such as height, weight, hand strength, and use all must be taken into consideration. In addition, the specific disability will determine which mobility aid will give the best result.

Occupational, physical and speech-language therapy services are provided to public schools, private schools, as well as early childhood programs. Contract services are available to facilities, agencies, and group homes serving individuals with Mental Retardation
and Developmental Disabilities (MR/DD). Therapists delivering services to these sites include Occupational Therapists
and Assistants, Physical Therapists and Assistants, and Speech and Language Pathoogists. We focus on increasing
existing skills and abilities while teaching undeveloped skills necessary for more independent functioning. Our
therapists are skilled in team process, Medicaid documentation, and program development. Many have expertise in the
specialized areas including: custom wheelchair seating, dysphagia, environmental adaptations, assistive technologies,
and sensory programs."

| For individuals with work related injuries and handicaps, Allied
Therapy provides on-site assessment with recommendations for activity modification,
exercise, adaptive equipment and assistive technology to reduce pain and
discomfort resulting from improper work stations to increase productivity
and reduce the risk of re-injury and bio mechanical stress. Therapists working
in this area have experience and continuing education in both activity analysis
and ergonomics of the workplace.
